GEREX Group is led by Lena , a civil engineer (B.Eng.) with a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering with Business Studies (M.Eng.). She is a certified project manager, trained tax clerk, Licensed Real Estate Credit Intermediary and registered real estate consultant in Germany.
This multidisciplinary foundation — combining engineering, finance and real‑estate expertise — defines GEREX’s structured and quality‑driven approach.
Over more than a decade, Lena has built extensive experience across construction, asset management, property operations and real‑estate consulting. She has coordinated planning processes, supported site supervision and prepared expert reports for building evaluation and reasoning for damages, giving her a deep understanding of structural quality, material performance and lifecycle behaviour. Her work includes turnkey construction as well as renovation projects. The application of Lean Construction principles with defined quality gates ensures efficient workflows, predictable timelines and clean execution.
In Hamburg, Lena contributed to the evaluation, controlling and strategic reporting of infrastructure assets — including Autobahnen (highways), bridges and road structures — with a focus on financial assessment and prediction, process development, risk assessment and long‑term performance planning. This strengthened her ability to structure complex technical information and support strategic decision‑making.
Alongside her engineering career, Lena has been active in property management since 2012, managing both short‑ and long‑term rentals, tenant selection, operational administration and financial oversight. This long‑standing hands‑on experience gives her a practical 360° understanding of buildings — from acquisition and construction to operation, maintenance and value preservation.
Since relocating to Mauritius, Lena has managed renovation and development projects and gained practical experience with local certification processes, regulatory requirements and approval pathways — including interactions with the Tourism Authority for accommodation‑related certifications.
Through her own projects, she has developed a clear understanding of Mauritian legal frameworks, due‑diligence steps, and the procedural requirements for property acquisition, land transfer and compliance. This ensures that GEREX projects are aligned with local regulations, climate‑specific considerations and long‑term operational needs.
Her financial background supports GEREX’s commitment to fair pricing, transparent cost structures and sustainable investment logic, ensuring that every project balances technical precision with economic responsibility.
